In a Jam. Or is it Sauce?
Like many others, I've seen IIPM's half page ads in the Hindu and other business papers. Sometimes wondered about their claims of " being better than the IIM's". Always wondered and felt bad for them about the poor layout of their ads! Even a tin-pot 2 employee advtg. agency could have done a better job than them, I've felt.
The IIPM or The Indian Institute of Planning and Management - is the brainchild of a Prof. Arindam Chaudhuri. Supposedly he is & I quote from his site " a management consultant, specializing in the area(s) of Strategic Vision, Leadership, Social Sector Consulting, Comparative Management Techniques and Global Opportunities & Threat Analysis." Wow, I say. Even Peter F Drucker wouldn't hype himself so much!
And as Abraham Lincoln said "You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time."
When the truth is out, some people hide. Some people - like the IIPM - make fools of themselves by making vicious, personal attacks apart from sending goons to the offices of people who've presented the truth. The entire story on this development can be found on Amit's & Kaps site as well as - in his inimitable style - namma Sudhish's, besides the 2 bloggers directly affected - Rashmi Bansal and Gaurav Sabnis. Its time we - the blogging community - stood behind them.
IIPM, your goose is being slowly but surely cooked. Bon appetit, mate!
